To reduce violence within families through facilitating a gender based violence campaign in the community. The aim of the campaign is to educate and make the community aware of how to identify and refer cases of violence within their families, in schools and in the community. The campaign entail training of health promoters, Care givers, Youth programme implementers and other internal stakeholder. They will then facilitate the campaign in the community. The campaign will cover rape protocols and victim empowerment charter. The target group for these activities are community members and internal stakeholders. The project will be completed in December 2018.
In scope:
Establishment of an internal forum;
Organise and facilitate workshops;
Facilitate a campaign; and
Facilitate gender based violence conference.
