The ACT Digital Literacy Programme is a 3 node Information Communication Technologies (ICT) programme that provides an ongoing Microsoft Digital Literacy courses to unemployed youth (target 15-35 years) and Section 14 Bafokeng School teachers; Learning and Teaching ITC Integration lessons to Section 14 Bafokeng School teachers on how best to leverage in lesson planning; and Computer Science basic concepts to Grade 6 and 7 learners at select Bafokeng schools, namely Saron, Matlhware, Tumagole and Moremogolo.
SCOPE
The scope of this Programme includes and excludes the following items:
In Scope
Setting lesson plans in collaboration with Section 14 Bafokeng School teachers
Access to ICT devices used by the educators and learners involved in the programme, where necessary
Stakeholder engagement with all parties involved
Monitor and support the programme participants on continuous basis
Provide training resources to the programme educators
Safekeeping and maintenance of the ICT devices used in the programme
Provision of End-User IT Support related services

Procurement and purchase of ICT devices
Monitoring and subject advising of programme educators
