To facilitate a child protection awareness campaign in some of Bafokeng villages. From trend analysis and casework services, the social workers have picked up that there is high number of child neglect and child abuse within Bafokeng villages. Through involving different stakeholders from child services such as department of social development and South African police Services, we are aiming to educate community members on child neglect and child abuse so as to reduce the impact on present and future generation. This is done in a preventative method. The campaign is planned to correlate with the National child protection week which will take place from the 27 May to 2 June 2016.
