The ICT department provides the overall Information Technology support to the RBI’s projects and services. The department plays an integral role in the information procession and security for RBI. The Department intends to provide systems and service that are top notch and that adhere to the ICT industry’s best practices. The ICT challenges are complex as an emerging company, RBI is growing rapidly in projects and the ICT innovations are immense that is why our planning will be flexible and change from time to time in a quest to provide the best modern and efficient ways that information technology can be utilized in support of RBI’s projects to achieve their strategic goals.
Our planning is addressing the key aspects of information Technology as a supporting mechanism:
Technical Support – This is a day to day service that should be provided to all staff members as and when needed. The department will introduce a helpdesk system to enhance the logging of ICT queries.
Back Office Administration – the information accessibility, integrity and security of RBI should be maintained by this aspect. The department will implement new data warehouse to manage user profiles, data storage and back-ups.
Communication – The department will introduce a new system that meets the diversity of our staff members for those who are roaming and those in the offices. It is our intension to profile our staff members and provide them with proper ICT equipment’s that meets their work schedules. Three most critical service should be addressed in this aspect namely:

E – Mailing
Telephony and
Printing and Document management – Our intension is to minimize unaccounted printouts by emphasizing the use of (PPPC) private personal pin codes to our staff members. Reduce costs on color printing by restricting staff members from printing color in their discretion, color printing will be monitored and be authorized before usage. We will seek and contract a printing supplier who will service and maintain our printing services rapidly and reduce our downtime when there are technical faults.
