Programme Executive Summary (Scope):

To promote inter-sectoral, human rights based approach towards inclusive development focusing on community development involving people with disabilities, their families, community and various organizations as primary stakeholders. To also ensure that people with disabilities and their family members access the key essentials of life such as health, education, livelihood with a strong focus on empowerment, promoting inclusion and participation in all development and decision-making processes. To again attend to the community needs of physiological and radiological services in order to improve health services rendered in all Bafokeng clinics.
- Training of disabled people and their families on disability policies
- Create awareness about disability in the community
- Identify skills shortages of the disabled people
- Rehabilitation programmes for the disabled people and their families
- Issue assistive devices and refer to other health professionals
