To provide good human resources practices by supporting all RBA departments in the various human resource functions, which includes recruitment, staffing, training and development, facilitation of performance appraisal processes and employee counselling, employee relations to minimise or eliminate poor staff morale and financial loss. This will be done by responding to all HR related request from client departments and complying with all HR Acts and policies.
In Scope:
Provide support to managers and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staff;
To facilitate staff performance assessments;
To implement sound labour relations interventions to ensure a well-disciplined workplace;
Implement and update all HR policies;
Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff;
Provide information and assistance to staff, managers and Council on human resource and work related issues;
Facilitate employee Performance management;
To facilitate proper HR administration activities; and
Manage the Organisation employment equity.
