To assist in building the capacity of community organizations operating in the RBN in order for them to function effectively and efficiently and become sustainable organisations. Also to strengthen the Non profit Organization Forum which has been established by Royal Bafokeng Administration`s (RBA) Health and Social Development Services (HSDS)

In Scope:

• To build capacity of the 30 NGOs and CBOs in the Bafokeng Villages of which 2 will be from greater Rustenburg through training on: CBO management, business plan and project planning, marketing and financial planning, resource mobilization and fundraising, financial management for non profit organisations and document and record keeping.
• 90 delegates from 30 organisations will be trained in 4 groups.
• Training will take place over a 14-18 months period to allow delegates to transfer skills to their organisations.
• To strengthen the NPO Forum by assisting them to clarify their mandate, formalise the structure, and develop the skills to enable orgainizations to effectively serve their member organizations.
• The NPO forum will be constituted by members from each of the five regions.
• Activities of the forum will include; -Resource centre (one-stop-shop)

-Information sharing

- Conference Organization

- Networking

- Fundraising for sectors

• The forum will at a later stage need a permanent person/secretariat to coordinate its activities.
