To coordinate the establishment of animal pound/feedlot in Bafokeng area and to produce high quality livestock, to nourish people in Bafokeng and neighbouring communities. This is a joint project between Royal Bafokeng and Rustenburg Local Municipality. The project also aims at empowering some farmers to be able to manage the feedlot through training. An agreement between RLM and RBN will be signed regarding the management of the feedlot. A site within Bafokeng will be identified where the feedlot will be establshed. The project is planned to be completed in Decenber 2015.

• Design of the feedlot
• Procurement and establishment of the feeedlot
• Feedback meetings
• Registration of the cooperative
• Identification and training farmers of the farmers who will manage the feedlot.
