Programme Executive Summary (Scope):
|
To render prevention, counseling, treatment and aftercare services to all identified patients of substance abuse within RBN by offering them counseling, ensuring treatment and referring them to other addictions sufferers facilities There exists high rate of substance abuse in the community, high rate of school drop- out and a high rate of crime. The programme is targeting the community at large in the next five years for the whole RBN region.
In scope
- Conduct awareness campaigns in all RBN schools and communities.
- Conduct workshops and trainings for RBN and schools and communities.
- Partner with other stakeholders
- Attend meetings with the forum
- Refer clients to different stakeholders and rehabilitation centres
