Programme Executive Summary (Scope):

To encourage children in various Bafokeng schools to participate in athletics netball and football. The objective of the programme being to identify talent, to feed into the Academy and Platinum Stars, to encourage more participation and promote healthy living through physical exercise and keep the children out of the streets. There will be league games for children under the age of 17 and mass participation for older children. The programme will also employ temporary local coaches which contributes to reducing unemployment within RBN.
Scope Change request May 2018:
To encourage children in various Bafokeng schools to participate in netball and football. The objective of the programme being to identify talent, creating role models in sports within RBN and providing sporting opportunities, e.g. bursaries /scholarships. To also encourage more participation and promote healthy living through physical exercise and keep the children out of the streets. There will be league games for children under the age of 13 and 17 (Mass participation). The programme will also employ temporary local coaches and match officials which contributes to reducing unemployment within RBN.
