Conduct a land use survey that will include information on parks (developed and undeveloped) and land occupation audit that will provide a register of all occupations residing on a particular stand or parcel of land as well as information on:

• Cemeteries
• Old age homes
• Total dwellings by type
• Total number of community faculties (e.g. sports fields, movie theatres, tennis courts, gymnasiums, churches, etc)
• Total number of government services
• Total number of businesses

Conduct a population census that will provide the following information:

• Total population
• Citizenship – total number of Bafokeng and non-Bafokeng including international immigrants
• Total number of stands (available, developed, undeveloped)
• Total dwellings by type
• Ownership of dwellings (own or rented)
• Total households with access to basic services (g water, sanitation, electricity, waste/refuse removal)
• Total households with access to Information Communication Technologies/ICTs (e.g. landline, cellphone, internet, and computers)

Sourcing and collation of existing information that will be used to supplement the data collected during the land use survey, land occupation audit and population census.

Capturing, cleaning and integrating of the data collected

Analysis of the data and presenting the results to the RBN as a presentation, report and as GIS and tabular information.
