Leadership Development project (LD) is a means to adapt to Bafokeng traditional system. In fact, Leadership Development constitutes a backbone of all activities undertaken in the RBN from the fact that it is a forum for interaction between the local authorities and their community members. With organized Makgotla and Leadership Regional Structures, with capacitated Office Bearers (Bakuduthamaga), equipped with best administrative and leadership practices, all projects undertaken in the RBN will lead to sustainable project that will benefit the community (Morafe).

The scope of this Programme includes and excludes the following items:

In Scope

• Capacitate Bakhuduthamaga and Makgotla with academic qualifications(NQF) within established Regional Structures
• Facilitate in-community interaction between Dikgosana, Bommedikgosana, Bakhuduthamaga and Councillors through In-Community Dialogues per region
• Initiate, facilitate, support and evaluate sustainable community building and development initiatives
