To coordinate a youth Kgotha Kgothe event taking place on Saturday 2 July 2016 at the Civic Centre. To provide a platform where Bafokeng youth can interact with Kgosi and RBN leadership, to seek join solutions in improving the quality of youth programmes in the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN). It is also an opportunity for Kgosi to reflect on the goals, achievements and challenges faced in the past year. The event steering committee will assist in ensuring that the project scope is executed and the event is hosted successfully and to facilitate the process of passing resolutions during the meeting.
In Scope:
Establish the committee with a dedicated project managers;
A venue big enough for potentially 3000 participants;
An effective sound system to communicate to 3000 people, broadcast on 2 big screens in auditorium, PA systems and nine plasma screens for the marquee;
Marquee with a carrying capacity of 2000 adults;
60 Volunteers to assist with selected event proceedings (a stipend of R300 each);
Marketing of the event through bulk SMSs, distribution of flyers, and radio announcements (Mafisa FM and Motsweding FM);
Transport for every village;
Catering (Lunch) for 3000 adults;
Bottled water and one drink for lunch per person (3000 people);
Volunteers to collect waste;
Security monitored and maintained during event;
Registration of all attendees;
Communication's photographer and video broadcasting;
Emergency Services available for emergencies;
Translator for executive that do not understand Setswana; and
