To coordinate the development of the RBA Employee Equity Plan (EEP) with the nominated employee equity committee which will ensure that the Employment Equity Act is being practised in RBA. The purpose of the Employment equity Plan is to ensure that there is equality in the workplace by promoting equal opportunities and fair treatment in employment through elimination of unfair discrimination. The committee will also ensure that the plan promotes equitable representation in all occupational categories and levels in the workplace. The development of the EEP will complete in April 2017.
In Scope:
Staff announcement on the development of the EEP;
Nomination of the employee representatives by the staff;
Announcement of the Employement equity committee.;
Conduct workplace analysis through the EE Committee;
Interpreted the analysis form;
Drafting of the EEP;
Finalisation of the Employee Equity Plan; and
Presentation of the plan by the committee.
