Programme Executive Summary (Scope):

RBI in collaboration with RBA Security Department intends deploying a competent security company in all schools. A competent Security Company will make school environment safe and conducive to teaching and learning.

There are ongoing break-ins, crime and drug abuse in RBN schools because of lack of proper security. School safety is often a critical obstacle to conducive learning. Vandalizing schools, theft of school learning aids, victimization of learners should be prevented for schools to be a safe and secure environment for the entire school community. Control of visitors during and after school hours will be closely monitored. Through this project, all safety and security-related issues that affect or can affect schools will be addressed so as to make all RBN schools conducive to teaching and learning. Teacher- learner safety is important

The scope of this programme includes and excludes the following items:

  • Ensure that RBA Security Department approves and support the programme
  • Hold meeting with Security Department Management for the implementation of the programme
  • Liaise with outside security providers and monitor their service
  • Monitoring the performance of Security Companies.
