To improve patient management and ensure that personnel are up to date with Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements through the provision of various training courses by the end of May 2024. It is ideal for all EMRS practitioners to attend a refresher training on the latest trends of Basic Life Resuscitation.

Furthermore, the EMRS base has been operational for the past 10 years. During this period, the Occupational Health and Safety Policy was initiated but not followed properly. It is for this reason that at least seven (7) people will be trained and appointed as OHS representatives.

We have a total number of eight (9) Call Centre Agents who are responsible for receiving and dispatching required emergency assistance to Morafe and our clients (BRPM and Bakubung Mine). For the agents to be able to carry out their duties professionally and have empathy towards the caller, a need refresher course has been identified to upskill them.

In Scope: 

• To train 56 personnel in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals (BLS);
• To train 7 personnel in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS); and
• To train 9 personnel in call centre mending.
