The purpose of this project is to compile and submit a Water Use Licence Application (WULA) on behalf of the Royal Bafokeng Administration (RBA) for the Royal Bafokeng Nation (RBN). This will ensure compliance with national laws, including South Africa's National Water Act (Act 36 of 1998), and secure legal authorization to access, distribute, and supply water. The process also includes managing sewage in accordance with relevant environmental regulations.
To achieve this, Environmental Assessment Practitioners (EAPS) been appointed. They will compile the necessary documentation (including any required studies) and oversee the application process in collaboration with the RBA’s internal Environmental Specialists. The project will run from 6 September 2024, to be completed by 9 July 2026.
